When mistakes from my past catch up to me
Or my sons mom decides she wants custody

When the age 30 hits and I feel unaccomplished
Thirsty on some parched shit from dissipated dart spit
Will I find peace in myself as an artist
Or conform my style into something they can market
Writing for the masses while silencing my soul
Relinquishing control for a less creative role
If in pursuit of my goals I forget how to smile
Can I find the inner strength to overcome any trial
